Hello lovelies, I know it has been a while, I sincerely apologize for my inconsistency here.
Today’s blog post I will be giving you 5 star tips on how to be creative with your content creation at home.
If you are like me that your content creation revolves around outdoor spaces and places, you will know this has been truly a difficult time to create, stay original to your content, and most importantly create consistently.
In this blog post I will be telling you some apps to find inspiration and some simple things around your home you can use to create a visual appealing content.
The first thing you have to do is to figure out the best part of your house that you will be able to create your content comfortably. As for me it is my bedroom, but this doesn’t mean I don’t still go round the house to search for new spots (you get what I mean 😉)
The second important thing to do is to think of the kind of concept you want in relation to what your brands stands for. As for me my brand is about simple relatable fashion, food and lifestyle. So all my content I plan has to definitely revolve around it.
The third thing you can do is to source out for inspiration to create your mood board, for my Instagram feed at a point in time, I decided to go for an obvious happy mood, (the goal was to brighten anyone’s mood that opens my page); well you could draw inspiration from Instagram, search for people who do the same thing as you or you can check other apps like “Pinterest” and “Tumblr” for inspiration
Note: don’t forget to give credit to whoever inspired you
The fourth essential is to work with what you have, you could always make use of old newspapers magazines, or plain cloth materials for backdrop
The fifth essential ; if you are looking for what to use as props, you can use basic thinks like a mirror, fruits, raffia baskets, hats, wine glasses, towel.
The most important thing of all this point is to take it one step at a point, if you are not feeling inspired take a break, because you deserve a break.
